Yvonne's Story

Yvonne had a happy childhood, she lived with her mum, dad and her two sisters, her sisters and her helped around the house and in their huge garden as much as posible. On fridays after Yvonne finshed school she would go and work in a small local hair dressers even tho she would work for minimum wage of £3.50 she enjoyed her job she liked being hands on and mature, she liked the cumunacation she had with her customures and looking after their appearances, what she didnt like about the job were the nasty smells of the perming soulation's and bleach, they made her eyes water, they were so strong, Yvonne also didnt like the armed oil shampoo for dry scalps she remebers it being pink. Yvonne also worked all days saturdays for minimum wage. Yvonne has worked from the age of 14, when she left school she got a full time job in H.Samuals, she started as a sales assistant and worked her way up to be repair and back clairk this involved handling the banking, Yvonne enjoyed this job, just like any girl would she got to try on all the different types of jellwery, the touch of different jellwery was nice and would make a lady feel speacil and feminam. Yvonne worked at H.Samuals for 10 years before moving from Surrey to Sussex in 1987. She liked living next to the sea side the salty sea air on a daily bases was relaxing and peaceful. Yvonne had another job, picking mushrooms, she hated this job the mushrooms felt furry she didnt like touching them also black stuff from the mushroom came off and went all in her finger nails the smell of the mushrooms was a damp dusky smell, there also were many flys around the mushrooms. The new home Yvonne moved into from Surrey to Sussex had alot of damage to it there was fire damage in the bedroom, the house started small, the kitchen had no cubords and wire hang from the ceiling, the bathroom was painted a harsh beige colure, the kitchen had a breackfast bar in the middle of the room this made the kitchen seem smaller then it actually was. Over the years Yvonne and her husband, Paul have made their home their own, they developed and extended the house and their family. They extended the home bigger, took out the breackfast bar, now the kitchen is more open and homey. Yvonne had another job as a Career, this job lasted two an a half days, Yvonne found this upsetting, the site of the eldley incapable and incontenent. The smell Yvonne found hard to deal with. After that Yvonne got a cleaning job, Yvonne enjoys her job, she likes things looking neat and tidy and after cleaning has a satisfided feeling, she is not so sure on some products smells but still loves her job, she enjoys the company at work. she has many friends and has alot of laughs.
