BTEC LVL 3 PRODUCTION ARTS SNOW QUEEN 6/12/12

BTEC LEVEL 3 PRODUCTION ARTS THE SNOW QUEEN 6/12/12

WHAT DID I LEARN DURING THIS PRODUCTION PROCESS THAT WAS MOST VALUABLE?

  • I learnt though the production side that you can make set if you are creative anoth.
  • I think the trees were the most valable in the production because they took the most time and people to create it, it was the most difficult to create.
  • The evening we did all the set was very valueable the night before the performance in class we did not have anoth time to set everything up that evening was essantal, also we couldnt of set up the set any earlier due to other classes.

WHICH SESSIONS, OR PARTS OF SESSIONS, WERE THE MOST INTERESTING?.. AND THE LEAST INTERESTING ?

  • The most interesting lession were the preatations, we got to see each others ideas for all sections and got to express our own ideas .

WHAT SKILLS OR PRODUCTION ROLES WOULD I LIKE TO EXPLORE FURTHER/DEVELOP NEXT TERM AS A RESULT OF THE SNOW QUEEN PRODUCTION THIS TERM ?

  • I enjoyed doing make up and set, it gave me the opitunity to be creative in the areas i enjoy, id like to do make up again id like to explore costume too because id like to put togeather a chractor through the use of clothing.
HOW EFFECTIVE WAS YOUR CONTRIBUTION TO THE PRODUCTION PROCESS OF THE SNOW QUEEN ?

  • I think i put anoth effort into helping and contributing ideas towards the production, the main areas i did were set and i did the snow queens make up, researching and developing ideas further.

WHICH PARTS OF THE PRODUCTION PROCESS DID YOU FIND FRUSTRATING/DIFFICULT ?

  • I found making the snow flakes difficult i just could not keep the sticks togeather with the tape it was useable but does not look like a snow flake.

  1. So now you need to build on your knowledge of production roles by thoroughly exploring the Costume Designer and Make-up Artist's role in the theatre. You've shown a great deal of interest in these production areas and now you just need to channel it towards completing the 'job role' task in great detail.

  2. In response to one of your comments...

Yes please! We'd definitely like to see you develop your make-up and costume skills for Don't Feed the Animals. During last lesson we researched clown faces and different costume designs for the clowns that appear in the play, so it would be good for you to catch up on that sometime soon.
